| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 6, 2007 hazy, almost cloudy amber. nice fragrant aroma, definite hop almost of american style and balanced. long lasting head with a bit of lace. definite session beer. this is the belgian version,
American market export version: More hop nose and much more subdued in every other way. I think the one I brought back from Brussels (in a smaller bottle without the bbe info) was much better. Tmoney99 (4800), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 3, 2007 Bottle. Poured hazy yellow with a large rocky white head that was mostly lasting and produced good lacing. Moderate hoppy sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a soft texture. Moderate sweet citrus flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. More of a blond brew that was very drinkable. vanvenlo (794), Glen Iris, Australia

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 19, 2007 Bottle. Old.. not sure how old, but several years at least. Very good aroma, yeast and hops.. Belgian-style hops... took me forever to learn to recognize them amidst all the yeasty goodness usually present as well.. So, this is good, somewhat thin perhaps.. nah.. very decent. Think this particular bottle might have been going downhill though. Lunkie (1020), Glen Iris, Australia

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 11, 2007 A dusty bottle bought at Greenlife Grocery, poured a hazed golden with a big head. Has an aroma of pils malt, saison charcter (barnhouse) oxadation and slight skunky flavor. Metalic taste in there too even though its corked. I think this bottle was treated poorly and was probably not stored properly. Too bad could have been a good beer. Buyers be ware! bhensonb (4388), Woodland, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 4, 2007 Aroma of hop, neither citrus nor pine, a bit floral, and some very light malt and yeast. Quite a clean aroma. Burnished gold color with a humongous white head, that laces a bit. Starts sweet! Belgian candy, mixed with a bit of yeast and fruit. Tends towards a bitter finish, but it takes a while to get there. Very firm mouthfeel. So the bumblebee is not supposed to be in this, but there is a light honey note. In the end there is a bitter effect towards the rear edges of the tongue. Really drinkable.
