Commercial Description:
Hommel is the local abbreviation of humulus, from the botanical name for the hop plant. Confusingly, it also means bumble bee in Flemish. Poperings Hommelbier is a hoppy, golden-bronze, ale. It is made from a blend of winter, summer and aromatic pale malts.

Thanks to luiss for this one. Pours hazy dark straw with 1-finger off-white head. Aroma of spice, florals, heavy funky citrus, some fruit, and some yeast. Tastes floral and spicy, like a saison, with a strong hop and citrus flavor, and a lot of florals and spices. Complex, well rounded mouthfeel. This one is delicious!
