Aroma of spice, florals, heavy funky citrus, some fruit, and some yeast. Tastes floral and spicy, like a saison, with a strong hop and citrus flavor, and a lot of florals and spices. Complex, well rounded mouthfeel. This one is delicious! IrishBoy (2726), Bakersfield, California, USA

Very drinkable. Stays a great prodcut for me. OldMrCrow (1206), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours a hazy cider with a nice ear-white head. The aroma is just lovely, dusty wild Belgian yeast, apples, and peppery spices. The flavor comes on surprisingly bitter, metallic, and slightly astringent even, but as I sip I grow increasingly fond of this as well; a lovely dry hop bite meets enticing saison flavors. The mouthfeel is very good, highly carbonated making a refreshing beer even it at 7%.
Very well done. I like this and will repeat the experience. ALLOVATE (1126), Perth, Australia
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 10, 2006 From the bottle @ De Dolle Dries, Brugges friendliest little pub, Belgium.
Opaque, dull, orangey gold in its own chalice with some well conditioned, fine carbonation raising up a wickedly thick, rocky white crown that held firmly and laced well. Peppery, heavy depth of herbal and citric hops on the nose. Not entirely noble, the hops seem distinctively American grown, but it helps. This oozes Summer. Tangy, fresh bursts of grapefruit ensue the first whiff, as does some lavender, cantaloupe and orange peel. Nice tang of sourish malt and pale rock candi come in even later. I quite liked this ones perfume!. In the mouth the fruity esters dominate. It, or I for that matter, caved in to the quenching juicy lashings of summery, tropical fruits similar to the aroma. Underneath are layers of pale malts, rock candi, chamomile tea (?) and daffodils (also ?) with a late touch of soft cheese in the very depth of the back of the mouth - excuse my notes, two months ago I also wrote I was getting tired, the sun was fading , Italy was advancing in the World Cup, etc. Finish is lovely and fresh, holds some sweetness but is otherwise fruity with just a touch of vinous alcohol to aid it. Very much a quencher, this was a refreshing brew. Quite nice. I’d like to taste it again now I’m back in Oz and a little more sober. (25cL, BBE 08/07) cab (863), Denmark

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Carbonation rushes the top of the bottle once the top is popped. Pours golden with slight haze and thick head that mellows out. Dim fruity aroma leads to a light fruity and unfortunately over-watered taste. Well blended alcohol with little aftertaste. Not offensive, not impressive.
