Hazy orange with a tight beige long lasting head. Aroma is hoppy and fruity with an underlying musty yeastiness. I tried to decant without getting any yeast in the glass, but some may have escaped.
Flavor is sweet and fruity with nice hoppy finish.

By this point in my sampling I had lost a fair bit of obectivity. I wrote down in my notes "quintessential tripel" which I thinks means I liked it. anders37 (4792), Malmö, Sweden

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 10, 2009 The pour was cloudy and dark gold with a one-finger tall white head that produced minimal lacing. The aroma was minty, bubblegum and herbal. A slight lean towards funky. The flavor was mint and citrus with earth and flowers. Thin to medium in body with a nice mouthfeel that masked the ABV well. Different. Good. Barrios (861), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

aroma has a little hops, but reminds me more of a blonde with the swetness and faint spicyness. hops, honey, flowers and faint spices.
flavor is more hoppy than the aroma.
sweet sawdusty hoppy, dry but still quite sweet. honey, spices, alc. very well hidden, i’d gues it was a 5%. baart (16), Oirschot, Netherlands

Remember it to be sweet but that’s to be expected with a name like that. and yes, i read the commercial description.
