| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 9, 2005 330ml bottle. Hoppy, spicy aroma, green, leafy, grassy and lightly peppery with touches of musty yeast, bark and crackery malts, perhaps a touch of barnyard funk. Medium golden color, mostly clear, with some slight particulates and a fine, uneven, diminishing head that leaves sheets of lacing behind. Malty and fruity to start, some faint grapefruit and lemon, turning predominantly hoppy, herbal, verdant and spicy, quite dry and lightly acidic, moderately refreshing on the palate. Lingering flowery, citric hop flavors and bitterness with a light kiss of medicinal alcohol. Sweetens, to a degree, as it warms. Medium bodied. Interesting and unique, pleasantly hoppy ale. sunevdj (1774), Copenhagen OE, Denmark

Pours a clear (dark) yellow with a white head. Nice lacings. Sweet fruity beer with some dryness. Aromas of yeast, hops, pear/apple and banana. Medium bodied a bit creamy. Low Co2 level. Dry, hoppy finish. I´ve visited two of the three churches on thel label (as a tourist with a hangover). larsga (2969), Oslo, Norway

Strange, subdued hoppy aroma; not sure what kind of hops they used, but have smelt it before. Very nice. The taste is dominated by the same soft, almost salty or stale, hops. Very subtle, and very nice. Never tried anything like this before. 3daddict (139), Portland, Maine, USA

This is an easy beer to pass over with all the exciting selections to chose from but well worth the sample. Pours a cloudy amber color with an easy two fingers of head. Wonderfully rich yeast and fruity hop aroma. Surprising simple palate with constant carbonation, toffee flavor and quick finish. Not a hint of the 7.5abv at least until the bottom of the glass! thebeertourist (2799), Oslo, Norway
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2005 Strong flowery hop aroma, golden colour with a nice head that does not last very long. A good bitter beer, with dry finish. Medium-bodied and oily, some sweetness prevents it from being one-sided.
