I had this beer when I was in Italy and was far more impressed by this than the Chiara. I was expecting this to poor a nice red but instead it was more like an amber. It was sweet with a mild bitter aftertaste. The aroma was pleasant but malty not hoped. I was drink this beer again!

Bottled. Dense and enough persistent foam. Beautiful red shining color, lightly dark and discreetly bubbly. Fresh and pleasant taste, notes of red fruit and alcohol. Flowery and much persistent finish. Not particularly heavy and drinkable. Indeed good.

[Bottled] Clear amber, brief head. Bready malt aroma. Dryish and firmly malty with clean mouthfeel. Has that dusty, raisiny, dense malt flavour well reminiscent of Einbecker Ur-Bock that I find very enjoyable. Salty finish. A good commercial bock!

A red beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of alcohol, oranges, and peaches. The flavor is malty with notes of caramel and berries - especially cowberries. It has quite a thin mouthfeel - especially considering the 6.5% ABV, but all in all an OK beer. Thanks to Alex (fiulijn) for trading me this.

NIce Italian one. This "Doppio Malto"’s ones are very good. NOt too alcoholic like German Bocks.

A very good beer. Balance between sweetness and bitterness. Beautiful amber colour. Spicy (pepper, cinnamon), but not very.

A clear amber brew with reddish tints, medium beige head. Malt, caramel and fruit in the nose. A dusty sweetness of fruit and malt with an earthy quality to it. A bit thin feeling.
