Mar 12, 2007 Sampled in Florence in 2001. Was very well priced at little over 25 US cents. was very light with minimal flavor but packed a good punch of alcohol. worth a try if you are looking for more than a sipping beer.

What a load of rubbish. Not much to say about this bland nonsense really, so I’m not gonna waste too much time on it - This is clearly a fake/poor man’s "birra moretti" (see my review), which is OK.

Feb 18, 2007 Tap. Bubbly little white head on top of a bright yellow fizzy beer. Dull grassy hop aroma, which is all there is in the taste too. A bit boring, but very easy to drink.

Nov 30, 2006 Bottled. Light straw colour with a brilliant white head; rather lifeless; aroma of citrus hops, watery with a trace of malt. Not very inspiring.

Nov 3, 2006 Bottled. Light yellow coloured beer with thin whitish head. The aroma is buttery and sickly. Not at all nice. The taste is dry and unpleasant. More vomit like qualities. Really poor. Good thing is it only cost me 20p thanks to the girl in Sainsbury’s not being able to read. Only just worth the 4 bob though.

Oct 12, 2006 Updated: Feb 26, 2007A Mes rate: Has this with a pub lunch as it was the only alternative to some nasty green king taps. Crisp, very slightly hoppy, one dimensional and very straight forward. Faintest hint of malt for the finish.

Sep 11, 2006 Bottle, Picked up at Morrisons, Banbury 09-09-06, on offer two four packs for a fiver. Pours golden with a small white head, similar to many other Italian Lagers I’ve had, bit on the thin side, malt and hops are conspicous by their absence, ok they are there but not much.

Sep 10, 2006 Really soapy horrible beer. And a rip off, i paid £3 for one bottle of this. The bar I was in was really pushing it, all the staff were wearing ’birra poretti’ aprons. Like drinking mouldy grain water or alcoholics piss, with a distinct aftertaste of soap. It smells of bad beer. I would not recommend anyone to try this. I think they put fairy liquid in it for foam or something.
