Bottle. A murky and hazy light brown amber color with a tan head. Sweet and spicy pine, spiced, and grapefruit aroma. Thick and delightful on the palate, bitter and dry with a long hoppy finish. Tasty but intense.

Bottle thanks to Dmac. Pours out a moderate copper color with some slight white lacing remnants of a head. Notes of citrus hops and some sweetness lingering around with a touch of alcohol. Taste is rather boozy, some citrus hops and some sweet malty grain notes make an appearance, but the hops and the alcohol duel it out and the alcohol wins big time.

22 oz bomber from Capones. Pours a murky orange with an average foamy white head. Aroma has lots of fruitiness with caramel and toffee sweetness along with citrus hops. The flavor has some serious noticable alcohol throughout the entire flavor along with lots of grainy malts and harsh citrus rind. Interesting but tone down the alcohol and balance this one out a bit.

Bottle shared at the DC Local tasting. Bomber pours a transparent orange, amber with a creamy, slightly off white head. BIG nose: perfume, pine, lemons, candy. Flavor is mostly grapefruit, very astringent, pine tar. Finish is a little hot. Some light sweetness.

A little hazy dark golden colored beer, with a thick foamy off white head. The aroma is some sweet with hop bitters, malty and fruits. The atste is dry bitter of hops. It’s burny, with spices like pepper and some alcohol in the back. The aftertaste is bitter and spicey.

Bomber. Hazy orange-amber color, medium white head. Big hop aroma of citrus and some grapefruit, though maltiness is very prevalent. Taste is also very hoppy, lots of citrus fruit. Long bitter finish.

22oz bottle, purchased at Ledgers. Pours a murky, tarnished golden-tan color; murky, off-white head, patchy lacing. Lots of earthiness, citrus, and basic maltiness in the aroma; dulled from age. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: lots of complex malt sugars; earthy hop bitterness, and light amounts of caramel oxidation; old at this point; lightly oxidized, candy sugar, lots of earthienss; hidden alcohol, but far gone. Lengthy finish: sugar, earthy hop bitterness, lasting bitter notes; a touch rough.
