This dunkel pours a dark red, near eclipse red color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized tan/beige head, with decent retention and nice lacing. The aroma is caramel, sweet, with some brown sugar. A medium bodied dunkel. The malts are caramel and a touch fruity. The hops are earthy and touch floral. Nice malt sweetness. Good carbonation. A nice dunkel with good drinkablility, there is just enough sweetness balanced by a touch of hops. The Mouthfeel is full. The finish is clean and smooth.
