Commercial Description:
It’s not often that a great summer swell coincides with a full moon, but when they collide, nature affords us a rare opportunity to paddle out long after everyone has called it a day. These moments are a solitary pursuit with empty lineups, but those who carve graceful lines under a full moon understand how things can be dark lonely and rewarding at the same time. So next time you paddle in from an overcrowded beach break, remember that nothing tastes better than a cold beer after a session. We suggest a glass of this smooth roasty black lager for contemplating empty lineups and waves that go on for days. Most likely, you’ll long for epic summer swells under moon lit sessions opening the doors to isolation and empty secret spots of an age trying to pass us by.

22oz bottle, deep dark brown color, with a tan-colored head, yeasty, fruity, roasted malt nose, with some black chocolate, burnt raisin, date accents, with some coffee bean, cocoa, toffee notes, with a hint of liquorice in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, toasty, roasty, chocolate malt character, with a nice black coffee accent, with some burnt toast, raisin, date notes, with a faint mochaish flavor, with a hint of flowery hop leafiness and liquorice spiciness, leading towards a fruity, black chocolatey, lingering roasty bitterness finish.

Bottle courtesy Juiceisloose. Dark reddish brown pour. Smoky malt aroma with some roasted grains. Roasted malt and a nice balance of smoke in the taste. Finishes with a bitter roasted smoked taste. Very good.

Bottle shared at the Otown Orlando Tasting. Pour was a very dark watery brown. No head. Very nice aroma of coffee. Flavor was roasted nuts, coffee, and just a hint of sweetness. Very nice.
