Rich black color with creamy brown head. Chocolate and roasted malts on the nose with just the faintest hops. Vanilla, intense oak, roasted oatmeal, chocolate, and just the faintest bitterness at the end. Sweet and smooth.

650ml bottle from dsnowden! Wow, i’m excited, thank you! Pour BLACK, looks like an imperial stout. Soft beige head, nice lacing on the inside of my snifter. Aroma is smokey, and chocolatey. The hops come through, and add a nice dimension. There are also some coffee notes with some slight fruitness.......plums, and figs. Flavour is awesome! The hops are there, along with a wicked coffee taste, that finished with a great bitter chocolate that lasts forever. This is like liquid chocolate/coffee brownie, with hints of molasses. The mouthfeel is NUTS! Viscosity is dead on, this stuff is THICK. It just coats my mouth, after i swallow i can still feel the coating in the top of my mouth. The 10% is nowhere to be found, What an amazing beer, i can’t find anything wrong with it.

This is very good and hard to classify in to any style. A black beer with a very thick pour. Almost no carbonation. I’m happy the bourbon is hidden and not there to ruin this fine beer. Lots of oak in the flavor, some very light smoke, bread, and a hint of coffee. Thick and heavy on the palate.

Pours out black and thick, this beer has a small light brown head. Aroma is nice and sweet and chocolatey. The bourbon aroma is present and tingles the nose but is not overpowering at all. Coffee is nicely woven into the aroma mixing to be a sweet yet roasty experience. This is going to be something good. Wow, this tastes great! Ok first off there is a sweetness of chocolate deep, rich, and smooth. Then the slight kick of burbon add a whole new complex dynamic, this slowly blends into more of a coffee and roasted taste to round out the beer. The aftertaste is very roasty and warming. Damn, this is good. What an excellent beer my second from PIzza Port and this is just amazing. The alcohol is completley hidden and the mouthfeel is smooth and velvety. I can’t say more amazing things about this beer.

Like syrup, a brutally dark and coffee, imperial stoutish beer. Good to drink nice and slow and savor the flavor, not a pounder, thats for sure.

Pours opaque deep brown with a foamy rootbeer head that lingures. Aroma is coffee, chocolate & slight bourbon. Are you sure this isn’t an Imperial stout?! Flavor is more of the same, with the subtle coffee taking a back seat to the chocolate and a touch of vanilla and smoke. Excellent beer.

Thanks to Brewfiend! Black color with no head. Nice, bitter roast aroma. The taste is an incredible balance between bitter hop and malt vs sweet malt. A little vanilla. I would not guess that this was bourbon aged at all. Excellent!

Bottle. Pours a very thick brown with a thin chocolaty head. The aroma has vanilla, roasted malt and a port like alcohol quality. The flavor is that of a beer made with coffee and Kahlua. A very thick and meaty brew.
