Pretty black pour with a tan head and lightly spotted lacing. Smell is roasted dark sugary malt and toffee. Flavor is nice and roasted and coffee filled. Bitter coffee hop finish. Not too heavy, a hint thinner than I expected but still nice. Very drinkable and enjoyable. trevor211 (518), Seattle, Washington, USA

Pours deep cola brown - almost black - with a tiny tan head. Chocolate, smoked meats and molasses on the nose. Dark, roasty, smoky malts are huge in the flavor, but it maintains a detectable hop presence and a good balance between sweet and bitter. Also strong notes of coffee, brown sugar and cacao. Surprisingly drinkable for this thick of a brew. fiver29 (726), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
