A nice gold-orange in color with a fluffy white head. As is usually the case with Port, the aroma on this IPA is a fresh blast of citrus-tangerine hops. Body is very light and sparkling, probably the “summery” touch on this IPA. Just a solid drinking IPA, crisp bitter finish. Not all that much going on, but still fun to drink.

An excellent APA. The aroma was amazing, loads of fresh hops and pine. Citrus, grapegruit, grass, tropical fruit, and a hint of sugary sweetness. Balanced, hoppy, and very tasty.

On tap at Port/Lost Abbey. This is a little confusing since I’m not sure if this is the same beer as Pizza Port Special Pale Ale - it was just labeled as SPA. Clear medium amber color with a medium white head and some good lacing. Aroma is fresh citrus and floral hops and pale malt. Flavor is similar, just a great hoppy pale ale/IPA, with pale malt, citrus, a hint of tropical fruit, and some mild hoppy resins. Hop character is mainly grapefruit but has some floral aspect to it. Palate is medium-light and crisp. Drinkability is high. Overall very nice beer.

On tap at Sinner’s and Saint’s party. Pours a clear orange-amber with a white ring. Hoppy aroma, with pine, grass, malt, sugar, and citrus. Taste is bitter and clean, of pine and citrus hops, malt, and grass. Lingering clean bitterness. Very nice and drinkable.

Tap at Sinner’s and Saint’s Party, this was a nice little surprise new beer for me. Pours golden orange with a bright white ring. Nose is full of that awesome fruit loops sugariness. Taste is hoppy, bitter and damn well balanced.

On tap at Lost Abbey.. Pours golden with a white head.. Aroma is floral hops.. Flavor was very hoppy, more like a IPA than a pale ale.. Lots of carbonation.

Tap at Father’s Office Culver City. Was a nice surprise. Nose was rather formidable with the dry, hemp hops of Elder and a little sour resin. Color is a nice light gold. Flavor is sort of like an IPL but more full: grass, lemon, light hops. Refreshing, drinkable, great with burgers.

Draft. Light yellow in the glass with an active white head. Lemon, grassy hops, crisp citrus and some hay/straw in the background. Surprisingly full palate. Lots of wheat/grain malt on the finish and a succinct finish. Balanced and drinkable. A good session beer and a very proficient hand with the ingredients here.
