22 oz bottle. A fresh aroma with a more subtle hoppiness than expected. Notes of leafy hops, spicy pine, mild citrus fruits, pale bread grains, and some other lighter fruits. The pour had a smaller creamy starch white head, a very opaque cloudiness, and bright tropical orange color. This beer has some good things going on in the taste and palate, but I sort of wish there was more. Things seem a bit too mild for a fuller feeling ipa. A bit more balanced toward the hop side of things, flavor notes include mostly herbal and pine bitterness, with some thick citrus, as well as a bit of light grain malt. Actually, I might like a bit more from the malty end of things things. Overall, this was a very nice drinking ipa, that I could easily session to all night.

22 oz. bottle from The Red House here in Renton, Washington. Nice selection at The Red House by the way. Nice light orange haze appearance, with a rather thin head. Head is kind of spotty, but overall leaves a nice crust on top to accentuate the appearance. Nice crispy citrus/orange juice hop aroma coming off of this. Almost as pungent and as good as the Two Hearted. Ah... this beer smells pretty damn good. Sweet malts take a backseat to the nice pungent citrus hop flavor. This beer has a nice aroma. Wow, that citrus hop aroma is in your face and explodes at first. This IPA is damn good and it is relatively smooth. Nice bittering hop that keeps my tastebuds alive! A solid f’in IPA that I have really enjoyed.

Hazy amber/golden with off white head. Sweet aroma of raisin, apricot and a little alcohol. Sweet flavour wit a soft palate wraps up ripe fruit, raisin and a balanced bitterenss. Nice one.

Bottle thanks to Bitbucket!
Bubbling tan-amber with a large, frothy white head. Nose has light berry, grass, and soap, but its almost pure hop. Similar flavor in heavy grapefruit and citrus. Moderate and chewy body but steering clear of salty landmines or becoming sugary and sticky. Yes it is singularly focused, but if there is only one way that an IPA should go, it is this.

A: Nice golden orange color with a big puffy head. The head dies down but is constantly fed by tiny bubbles. The head that does hang around leaves behind some lovely lacing. S: Nice floral piney character. There is some sugary sweetness underlying but pine is dominant. T: The floral aroma comes thru in the taste. There is some pine as well and it finishes with a citrus bite. There is an underlying malty sweetness in this one to balance it all out. A pretty good IPA. M: Medium bodied and smooth drinking.

Dark amber pour with a white head. Nice hoppy aroma and taste. The hops are tasty, but not dominating or overtaking. Really nice lacing on the glass.

on tap @ Jakes Bar and Bistro Steilacoom, this is a great IPA and it is approachable, crisp, hoppy without being to resinous on the tounge, a great food ipa with just the right amount of floral quality!

Cask Stillage from the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 26/09/2009 Big pine hop aroma. Small white head. Golden coloured very hoppy and fruity with a pine flavour. A little dryness in a crisp and bitter malt finish.
