beerinmarch (2781), Alabama, USA Feb 3, 2009 Hood River Hops Fest 2008. Orange/amber with a soft white head. Big pine hop nose, floral and sweet. Very well balanced, not overly bitter, citrus hop flavors come through sweet with a soft underlying caramel flavor. carruthm (1112), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 27, 2008 on tap at hopfest brouwer’s cafe
V - clear light amber color
A - malty tones underneath the hops
T - somewhat mush of malts and hops
P - Could stand to be more balanced. A work in progress. Odeed (1666), Bakersfield, California, USA Jul 13, 2008 (MANY THANKS TO IRISHBOY FOR THE HANDBOTTLE)clear yellow with not much head.nice grassy pine aroma.flavor is earthy hops with a bitter finish. pantani (1894), Salinas, California, USA Jul 10, 2008 Light amber with a nice white head. Aroma is a strong piney hoppiness, light caramel, and dried fruit. Taste is a strong citrus hoppiness with a light sweetness which has a caramel like accent to it. Pleasant IPA, 80-90 percentile IMO. IrishBoy (2686), Bakersfield, California, USA Jul 10, 2008 Growler from Peaks Brewpub (they called it Triple Hop Diggity); Nose is very hoppy with floral, citrus, and a bit of pine; Hazy orange-copper with a medium off-white head; flavor bitter with some orange and grapefruit notes. Darn good IPA!!! BillKismet (1899), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 30, 2008 Stately bronze with cream hop-pocked head. Full bouquet of C-hops, primarily chinook bitterness and cascades. I’m not certain what triple dry-hopping adds, but there is definitely a dry-hopped fullness to the beer that is quite enticing. Flavor full of bitter chinooks and some grapefruity cascade. Solid west coast IPA. Lacks floral complexity and really hits only 1-2 notes, but they are good ones.
