| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2009 22 oz bottle, via 5000. Pours a slightly cloudy gold body with a one inch fizzy white head that left lots of lacing. Very light nose, almost no hops at all really. What’s there is lightly floral and perfumy. More pale bready malt than anything else. Low bitterness with just a light floral hoppiness up front and pale doughy malt. Decent length on the finish though. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a bit of a doughy clinginess on the back end, fizzy moderate carbonation. Very light and subtle on all fronts, this barely crosses the line into IPA territory. alexanderj (2284), Chino Hills, California, USA

Pours a hazy gold with one finger white head and delicate lacing. Nose is fairly light with faint citrus and malt. Taste is light caramel malt upfront and then the bitter resin kicks in. It definitely lives up to its name. Medium mouth feel. This was is a bit herky jerky on the palate and unbalanced. gotohelunc (476), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 23, 2008 Bottle. Copper color, small white head. Piney hops nose. Sharp, pine hops flavors blended with some caramel malts make up the flavor. I was expecting more of a powerful "Northwest" IPA, but this was little more than a solid session IPA. Almost tasted a bit old, though I don’t think it was. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 20, 2008 Moderate grapefruit, somewhat floral, a little bready. A tad piney. Some light caramel in the malt. Feel like I have had this drink 1000 times; some better, some worse. Just another NW IPA - - - not bad by any stretch of the imagination, just very average and enjoyable. RollinHard (763), Fort Worth, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Bottle, just called "IPA". Pours a pale gold, hazy, with a small, bubbly white head. Smells huge of fresh planty hops, very pungent and spicy, some wood, hay, char, but man, I could season a steak with these hops. Tastes initially toasty, quickly followed up with a bitter spicy, slightly piny hop flavor, finishing with a bit of orange juice and strong grapefruit, slightly burnt aftertaste. Medium to light bodied, creamy. Good stuff!
