Commercial Description:
Traditional Fuggles and Kent Golding hops (imported from England) dominate the flavor of this English style pale ale. British grown Maris Otter barley lends a round and smooth malt flavor. Truly a classic style.

22oz bottle acquired in a trade. Poured a medium and slightly hazy golden color with a huge sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, some cardboard, and toasted grains. Tastes of light caramel, citrus, some breadiness, and the same cardboard that was present in the aromas.

Pale golden color, light head and light lacing. Nose of light hops, vague malts, not getting much here. The flavor is a bit hoppy and sweet, light honey and some basic malts. The finish is balanced. Lacking.

The body of this was medium orange with a white colored head. The aroma was apples with some carrots. There was also caramel and some leafves. The taste was bread crust with peanuts and some apple core. The carbonation was nice and smooth.

Lightly sweet and floral aroma, no hint of citrus or pine. Light apricot color with minimal head. Medium mouthfeel. Not overly malty nor overly hopped. Quite nice, seems just a bit too carbonated to be typically English. Good balance.

22oz bottle. Medium orange copper gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is slightly malty, fruity, earthy and a touch floral. A light to medium bodied English Pale Ale. Malts are bready and slightly fruity. Hops are mild, kind of ear thy and floral. Good balance. Nice earthy flavors. Very drinkable English Style Pale Ale. Would make a good session beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

22. Bit of a bummer about this one, shows a lot of promise. Crystal clear medium amber with a thick, creamy tan head and plenty of lace. Sweet dusty bready nose, showing some sweet corn and strawberry as well. Too bad. Body’s on the light side of medium, with a bit of woolly carb. Soft and sweet malty maris mid-palate, unfortunately joined by corn and strawberry. Long earthy, leafy hop finish. I’ll finish this beer even with the little flaws, but it sure seems like it could be pretty special if they tightened up the QA a little and got the DMS and esters outta there.

Nitro pour. Golden and clear with a big foamy head. The aroma is odd funky hops, weed, and cat box. A touch of sea salt too. The flavor is a little sulphuric with some ale yeast sweetness and a funky hoppy finish. Weird beer.

Bottle from Safeway, Port Angeles, WA; shared Courtesy of Enniskillen; Nose of grain, yeast, light floral hops, with a definate coffee note; lightly hazy copper with a small straw head; flavor of coffee, caramel, and peppery spices; very interesting combo of aroma and flavors.
