Commercial Description:
Characterized by intense brown roasted malt flavors, this full bodied ale is deep reddish brown in color. A bold hop bitterness is balanced by a healthy addition of caramel malts. Cascade hops provide a flowery and aromatic hop finish.

pours black with a red tint, a small khaki head that dissipates quickly, fine lacing.
smell is roasted malt and nuts, cocoa, and a touch of coffee, touch of vanilla.
taste is a bit on the watery side, roasted malts, chocolate flavored italian ice, and not too bitter, touch of coffee, some vanilla.

Daark brown thin off white head. Aroma is fairly chocolatey, with coffee and cream. Taste is off like hopdog said, tart, followed by roasted malts, if this is what they wanted there crazy.

22oz bottle. Poured a deeper brown color with red edges and an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of light roast, nutty, citrus and cardboard. Tastes of sour and tart fruitiness. Hmmm, I just got this bottle too...

Thanks ot hopdog. Pours a deep brown with amber highlights and a smaller off white bubbly head that left some lacing. Aroma of various mixed fruits, citrus, Flavor was kind of tart, light sourness, some roasted malts and caramel. Not to stlye at all...and probably infected...but still tasty.

This porter pours a deep brown amber color from a 22oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, roasty malts and earthy. A medium to lighter bodied porter. Malts are chocolate and roasty. Hops are slightly earthy. A touch bready. Lively carbonation. Somewhat nutty. Kind of a cross between a porter and a nut brown ale. Drinkable. Mouthfeel is perhaps a touch thin. Finish is crisp and clean, a touch chewy. Aftertaste is a slightly bitter and earthy.

22 oz. bottle - just another "average" porter that most outfits feel the need to put out; nothing bad, but nothing good either but just fills another category

Draft at The Upstage, PT. Comes out deep ebony brown to near black; some decent whitish-gray head. Hugely roasty and chocolatey on the nose and through the mid-palate, but thin and a little over-carbed. Lots of strong examples of the familiar pleasures of porter drinking, but not really a complete job of making a porter, and not really a venture down a new path, either--creatively or accidentally. I can’t complain about this beer, or jump up and down about it.
