Pours a hazy, orangey brown with a bubbly, dissipating, off-white head. Lightly nutty aroma. Medium body with a gigantic carbonation that I doubt was ever intentional. Roasted malt and nut accents. The finish is dry without much bitterness. More of a Brown Ale than a Porter really. 290308 yespr (12427), Copenhagen O, Denmark

The aroma has notes of roasted malt, sweetness and berries. The flavour has sweetness, notes of coffee, roasted malt, a touch of berries and a very low bitterness, that develops further in the long finish, where a bit of coffee and toffee tursn up. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 5, 2005 Dark demi-murky brown with some light brown color at the edges of the glass. Medium sized tan head. Sweet sugar glazed bread (donuts?) and coffee scented. Semi-rich texture, first taste is sweet coffee and dry stout-ish malts, second taste over the tongue is very rich toffee, bourbon, dry malts and robust bread crust and chocolate. Very good stuff, very balanced. A highlight from this brewery.
