Bright golden colour. Light malt-accented aroma with shades of hop. Pretty bland stuff. Flavour shows a bit of pale malt, but this doesn’t make much of an impression. When will brewers grasp that just because an ale is golden doesn’t mean it has to suck? JoeMcPhee (5030), Jackson Heights, New York, USA

Would be a good lawnmower beer so you didn’t have to drink Bud, Miller, or Coors! 5000 (2600), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 25, 2004 Bottle pours golden, miniscule to zero head, very light carbonation, with virtually no carbonation. Slight aroma of sweet malts, but very subtle. Flavor too is very subtle, sweet malts, slight grass & grain. Mouthfeel and body are a bit thin. Lack of carbonation really detracts from this beer. Finish is suprisingly smooth and crisp tho. A step or two below your average Golden Ale because of its lack of liveyness.
