Port Townsend Chocolate Strait Stout

Thick and dark in the glass from a nitro pour, there is a lack of contrast thanks to the dark chocolate. Settles to a dark brown with a creamy thick white head. Cocoa aroma is complimentary to the roasted notes, neither one really dominates. Bitter powdered chocolate up front, thins out to a smooth sweet finish. Always stout first, the chocolate is a pleasant ingredient, not a dominating force.
