Poured orange with a thin white head. Aroma is lightly floral with some biscuity malt. Flavor is a little biscuity malt, and some floral hopping. Finishes bitter. Both the flavor and aroma are lacking in much hop flavor for an IPA. Mouthfeel is overly watery. This didn’t feel much like an IPA. There was bitterness and astringency without much hoppy aroma or much maltiness backing it up. The end result was an unappealing, watery, bitter hop tea. It started feeling sort of soapy as it warmed up, and I couldn’t finish it. I might have to give this another chance later, though... I feel like this is more a beer I dislike than a flawed bottle, but I’d like to make sure.

Bomber courtesy of scrizz. Pours cloudy orange with floaters and a thin off-white head that lasted and left nice lacing. The nose is ripe citrus and caramel. The taste is ripe citrus, tart grapefruit, caramel malt and a long lasting oily resin finish. Medium mouthfeel. Good IPA. Thanks Clint!

Great Beer! Brought back from my friend Chris after his trip to VAncouver Canada! Non commercial unique flavor. White creamy head, clear and sparkling, molasses and light aroma, full body slighlty fizzy, wonder character!

22oz bottle from Scrizz via Mys Swap 4 (big thanks!). Pours a hazy amber with an average white head. Nose is fruity esters and some hoppiness. Taste is most perfumy, soapy, grassy, herbal hops and a bit of biscuitiness. Finish is thin and astringent. Carbonation os moderate, body is light. Semi-dry finish. A decent IPA.

22 oz bottle brought home to detroit all the way from seattle. pours a hazy light orange-amber with a thin whitish head, and catty and dusty-smelling hops emerge first. some pale malt behind, with some grapefruit but it’s not overly citrusy beyond that. reasonably balanced aroma for an IPA, not over-the-top hops. slightly bitterer in flavor than aroma, but still a woody green hops bitterness. medium-to-full body, with a medium-dry finish. a fun beer, i’d like to get a hold of some more stuff from this brewery.

22 oz bomber from a market near my buddy Dave’s in Seattle. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head and some solid lacing. Solid aroma of grapefruit, pine, orange and some graininess. There is a definite astringency to this beer which throws off what would have been a damn solid IPA. Still not bad though.

Bomber. Pours a cloudy, glowing, medium orange amber with a golden sheen. A small, frothy, cream colored head fades quickly, leaving some nice tapestry lacing on the glass. The aroma includes grapefruit, orange peel, lemongrass, and some kafir lime, with a floral, perfumy overtone and a light malt base of toffee and honey kissed grains. Flavors display nice balance between sharp citrus hoppiness and lightly sweet toffee, but something (I’m guessing the heavy grain notes) just seems to dull things a little bit. The palate is lighter than it should be and a little under carbonated, finishing with bitterness and a mild astringency. There are some nice qualities here, but the whole package just fails to come together for me.

(22oz bottle) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, pine, mango, and passion fruit. Flavor of hops (floral, citrus, earthy) and caramel malt with a dry, bitter finish.
