Pour is a very cloudy golden orange with a nice off white head. Can see residual hop dust hanging in glass, a preview of what is to come! Aroma is strong hop - resin, floral, citrus - a lot of fresh hop aroma going on. Taste is the hoppiness featured in the nose, and also introduces a nice malt backbone. Very fresh hop tasting. Palate is a bit on the thin side, though this really brings the hops to the forefront, which I am sure was the intention. Nice beer. Odeed (1679), Bakersfield, California, USA

Huge sea of yeast chunks in cloudy orange-yellow beer. Aroma and taste of grapefruit, lots of grapefruit. Light malt. tiffanya (45), Federal Way, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 6, 2008 Flavorful. Hoppy flavors of resinous pine–cedar and grapefruit–citrus. Slightly lingering bitter finish. Perfect slightly sweet, yet hoppy, easy-drinking IPA for a hot summer day. fakepurseninja (790), Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 4, 2008 Great hop presence on the nose - pale cloudy body. Sweet caramel and crystal maltiness with a really great Cascade hop presence. Light grapefruit citrus and very mildly resious. Has a lot going for it - but overall is a little too thin to be a great NW IPA. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 24, 2008 Bottle: Slight haze in this golden orange pour. Large, creamy beige head and nice lacing. Nose is fantastic with tons of citrus, bright hops, grapefruit, and light caramel malts. Tastes a bit lost in translation from the awesome aroma. Citrus and florals compete with a soapy ending. Finished a bit brash. Damn, if it would have tasted more like the smell... Thanks Jordan! trevor211 (518), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Noticed right off that there is a *ton* of sediment in this bottle. Pours an extremely light honey color with a tiny head that disappears quickly. Good, balanced aroma of predominantly hops, but malts as well - sweet and mild. Definitely not a big IPA, but a great flavor nonetheless. Goes down extremely smooth if not a little watery, great mouthfeel - not much carbonation. Tastes a bit like a good cask conditioned IPA on draft. Notes of hops, honey, light and sweet malts, grapefruit and apricot. Not something that wows me, but entirely enjoyable.
