Poured amber in color with a large, rocky, off-white head that lasted throughout. Very good lacing. Sparkling. Tons of particles. Flavor is light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops and citrus. Not much malt flavor. Light to medium body. Watery texture. Average carbonation. Medium duration hop finish with a hint of caramel malts. Overall, a slightly below average IPA. duffman462 (162), Gainesville, Florida, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Very hazy amber...almost the perfect color for an IPA. A lot of yeast settlement at the bottom, along with a few floaties. Hops are very clear here: grapefruit, cedar, and some fresh fruit. Nose is hop-forward, as well. Not an overly bitter beer (if there is such a thing), well balanced, and well done. Yeast is present in the finish, along with a bit of alcohol and dry hops. Very nice! Very heavy apricot and peach in the aroma, with a nice dose of hops. Taste is a strong peach accented by hoppiness, light pine, some floral. Solid IPA. PSmith (35), Kennewick, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 21, 2007 Nice citrus and pine aroma. Pours a very nice orange color. At first taste, very nice but does not linger on the tongue, finishes weak, but I’d drink another. jah noth (1020), Rochester, New York, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jun 15, 2007 Inviting citric aroma with slight pine wafts above this hazy, medium golden colored ale with nice carbonation and a thick, rocky white head. Delightfully refreshing hoppiness, mostly citric lemon and lime and some pepper spice. Well balanced with juicy fruit sweetness, fairly pale flavor without any overwhelming distraction of caramel and crystal. Leaves my tongue happy. This is real nice. Thanks André! | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 9, 2007 22 oz. bottle - pours cloudy gold with slight white head; i agree w/ others that the flavors don’t match up to the aromas (i’m finding that to be a common IPA trait); drinks smooth with almost no aftertaste glkaiser (1172), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 8, 2007 Pale golden yellow with small head. Strong hop aroma right off the bat, no screwing around. Big c hop aroma is not quite matched in the taste, but is still pretty strong. Just seems a bit thin. Bitter finish. I don’t get any sweetness out of this at all, pretty much just hops; That’s ok with me though:-)
