Jan 30, 2005 Orangey-amber colour. Woody, citric, piney hop nose. Clear, deep, woody, earthy bitterness meshes with slighty toasty breadcrusty malts. Finish is long, dry, woody. I am seldom disappointed with a PNW IPA, this one no exception.

Nov 18, 2007 (11/3/07, 22oz bottle, thanks artusory) Medium off-white head atop cloudy apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some orange, pine, light apricot. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/grassy, light apricot. Quite bitter. Medium body, light resin.

Oct 23, 2006 On tap at Hop Vine Pub, Seattle. Copper colour with thin white head. Very hoppy. Astringent, woody. Not much malt structure. Bit of woody vanilla and then big whop of hops on end. Uncultured and no depth. Astringent hop finish and fun though.

Apr 9, 2008 22oz bottle acquire in trade with riversideAK (thanks!). Poured a medium to deeper and hazy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Lots of small floaters. Aromas of citrus, pine, and apricots. Tastes of citrus, pine, and fruity. Medium bitter with a lighter sweet fruity balance.

Apr 3, 2008 Bottle... GIABMISGFAB... Cloudy golden ale with a small, fat bubbled, white head. The aroma is of fresh lupulin with pale grains and black tea. Full-bodied and coarse with lively carbonation. Well-balanced. Sweet malts and lots of residual sugar are countered by juicy, astringent hops. Bone-dry finish. Thanks to Beershine and Oakes for bringing this beer for us to try!
