trevor211 (85), Seattle, Washington, USA Apr 22, 2008 Noticed right off that there is a *ton* of sediment in this bottle. Pours an extremely light honey color with a tiny head that disappears quickly. Good, balanced aroma of predominantly hops, but malts as well - sweet and mild. Definitely not a big IPA, but a great flavor nonetheless. Goes down extremely smooth if not a little watery, great mouthfeel - not much carbonation. Tastes a bit like a good cask conditioned IPA on draft. Notes of hops, honey, light and sweet malts, grapefruit and apricot. Not something that wows me, but entirely enjoyable.
SDbruboy (1820), San Diego, California, USA Aug 17, 2008 22 oz. bottle from Bottleworks. Pours clear bright, orangey amber with a moderate whitish head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of rich fruity malts, with orange juice, caramel and pine. Flavor is also rich and malty, with a nice balancing of brash hops, citrus rind, spruce and herbs. Medium to full body and gently tingly carbonation. This is my idea of a great NW IPA, huge malts and huge hops - hooray! anders37 (2569), Malmö, Sweden Aug 15, 2008 Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Malty bitter hoppy flavor with hints of citrus. Sweetish malty hoppy finish With a long hoppy bitter aftertaste. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Aug 13, 2008 Date: 07/05/2008

Angeloregon (1867), Portland, Oregon, USA Aug 6, 2008 22 ouncer--Poured a murky golden-orange body with a whitish small head. Citrus, caramel, dull nose. I really hoped this was better than it was. Disappointing. theisti (1034), Leawood, Kansas, USA Aug 6, 2008 22 oz bomber purchased at the Safeway in Sequim, Washington. Pour is a very cloudy golden orange with a nice off white head. Can see residual hop dust hanging in glass, a preview of what is to come! Aroma is strong hop - resin, floral, citrus - a lot of fresh hop aroma going on. Taste is the hoppiness featured in the nose, and also introduces a nice malt backbone. Very fresh hop tasting. Palate is a bit on the thin side, though this really brings the hops to the forefront, which I am sure was the intention. Nice beer.
