| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2007 fairly aggressive pour yielded a respectable 1 1/2" head that quickly fell to a wispy film that sticks to the sides of the glass. Some sediment in the bottle and glass. Faint sweet aroma, balanced hop scent. Good balance in flavor between the initial sweetness and the floral bitter finish. Most ambers have little hop finish, this one is very nice. IrishBoy (2720), Bakersfield, California, USA

Pretty good amber. pantani (1902), Salinas, California, USA

pours golden with thin white head slightly cloudy and a little carbination.
smells of wood and toasted nuts.
texture is medium thickness and taste starts out bitter and then has a sweet aftertaste, nice citrus (lemon) that grabs the taste buds.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 8, 2006 Draught. Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma is a bit of piney and a little citrus hops, with maybe some sweet malt. Flavor starts with nondescript slightly sweet malt and maybe some piney hops, and finishes a little citrusy and slightly bitter. Certainly drinkable, but not too exciting. after4ever (2822), Brier, Washington, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Jul 30, 2006 Draft at The Upstage, PT. Pours a dark amber with a bit of tannish froth atop. Much as it pains me to knock the smaller operators of the brewing world, this is a vacant beer and there’s no way round that fact. Big bready nose with nothing else to say, and a flimsy little body with perfectly forgettable carb--not flat, not bubbly. The attack, mid-palate, and finish are all startlingly neutral. Amazingly watery for, presumably, having so many more calories than a megalager.
