Commercial Description:
Our winter ale is made from a blend of pale and crystal malts, roasted barley and Belgian aromatic malts. Cooler fermentation and a longer aging time adds further complexity to this Old Ale style.

Pours a slightly hazy copper color with white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, crystal malts, and earthy hops. Flavor is malty, caramel, and a bitter citrus peel finish.

Bomber from enniskillen...thanks Chris. Pous dark copper with a big off white head. Aroma of sweet fruit and malt...a bit of spice.Flavor is very malty, but has a bit of candy like sweetnes...not bad. Smooth, but thin. Nice, easy drinkin.

Taster - Port Towsend Brewing - Port Townsend, WA.
Aroma – Dark malt aroma, fruity yet light in the aroma needs more spice.
Appearance – Brown in color, Nice light head and clear.
Flavor – Can taste the dark malts but it felt watery and light. It was like it was pulled to early. The beer was weak and not a hyped up Winter warmer.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall – This seemed like it was missing flavor and true winter ale essence. Was looking for a big beer not one that laid flat. Looks like others liked it but I was sadly disappointed in this beer.

bottle, from trade with 5000. Ok aroma, Fruity, odd funky sharp grape, cardboard. Brownish orange color, small head, minor lacing. Bitter flavor, like aroma, had that funk again, some hop bite. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel, sour bitter finish. Eh, maybe a bad bottle or just a weird one

Brown with a very thin off white head. Aroma is brown sugar, caramel, toffee, alcohol. Taste has a light hoppiness to it which was unexpected, some caramel sweetness, with alcohol and dried fruit.

Mildly funky caramel apple aroma. Hazy chestnut amber in color with little head. Kind of a nice sipper with flavors of caramel malts, honey like sweetness, and a zing of hops at the finish. Overall, tough to finish the bomber. Thank Andre.
