Commercial Description:
I brewed this one up using a typical Irish stout grain bill, a mix of English and Northwest American hops, and our house Belgian Abbey yeast. The result? Let's just say that you don't want to meet this beer in a dark alley. Dark and moody with a tart finish similar to a Flemish Brown Ale.

On tap at the Porterhouse Brew Pub. Poured a dark brown color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, some grains, and a trace of tartness. Smell was all stout. Taste was was a nice surprise as I like tart beers. This was started out tart and had some roastiness, and chocolate in the background. A Flemmish Sour Stout, interesting.
