GeneralGao (2726), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jan 30, 2007 12 oz bottle. Clear golden color with rapidly dissipating white head that didn’t leave any lace. Smells of malty caramel, soy sauce, and sprucy hops. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Flavor was similar to the aroma, but without the soy sauce. Slight hop bitterness. Okay, but nothing to write home about. SudsMcDuff (1068), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston,TX, Texas, USA Nov 15, 2006 Poured with small nice sized head, then all gone..a yellow colour straight up, smells very faintly of lemons and syrup. non bittered really, a lack luster beer here. clean aftertaste though. marchcow (536), Coralville, Iowa, USA Sep 29, 2006 Slight barnyard aroma. Grassy. Light golden color with quickly diminishing head. Oily consistency. Flavor is ok but not great. Average flavor and finish. IndianaRed (1471), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 21, 2006 Bottle Pours a clear very pale yellow with a nice bright white head and lots of bubbles coming up. Aroma is a bit soapy and moderately bitter hops. Tastes of a very pale ale. Somt light malts and I suppose a balance of hops but pretty low on both sides. Papery stale quick aftertaste then just light fairly sweet malt trailer. Quite fizzy, and overal nearly Pale Lagerish.
JPDIPSO (4395), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jul 23, 2006 Dark golden color with a moderate diminishing off-white head. Sweet corn, grass, lightly toasted malt, grapes, hint of pine pitch and honey in the scents. Grains and stomach acid flavors. Corn husks and light sweet white grapes also join in the mix. A boring APA at best.
