Sampled during Dark Lord Day 09 via roving growler at around 7 am. It’s never too early or late for a beer. Pours a semi-clear light copper amber colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of golden grain malt, some light candi sugar, a hint of pear, yeast and a touch of spice. Taste is medium bodies, very light in carbonation with a sweet flavor of golden grain malt with some wheat character, some light caramel, spiced pear and candi sugar. Finish is quite sweet with a quick disappearing golden grain malt with a hint of candi sugar.

This beer at the brewpub in Portsmouth. It was extremely sweet for a belgian, with flavors of honey and apples almost like Apple cider. A very clear amber color with nice lacing.
