on tap-pours a creamy white head that laces with hazy/cloudy gold color. Aroma is rock candy, fruit, perfumy, yeast. Taste is rock candy, fruit, perfumy, yeast, coriander, spice. OK carbonation.

I don’t know how this manages to keep getting changed to 7.5% abv, as it certainly is not. I believe this is between 4.5 and 5. Anyhow....
Lucid, white-gold intertwined with soft apricot/banana yellow. Moderate haziness and an initially full, fluffy white head that quickly recedes to cover, leaving minor lacing.
"Chewy", or "fat", wheatiness in the nose leaves a full impression while pinches of pale malt sugars are dotted about. It trails off with lemon, white pepper and a moderate citrus juiciness. Proper attenuation, without any syrupy/sticky sweetness, and a very light, airy yeastiness that matches the sligthly bubbly, light-hearted carbonation well. Medium strength of aroma, no flaws.
Delicious attenuation is probably its strongest point, with a wheat softness that further sells its drinkability. Light tanginess on the finish, of lemon/orange and yeast acidity, but there is an unfortunate nuttiness that adds some blandness. A very competent, drinkable wit. Somewhat low on flavor, but the flavors present are used efficiently, interjecting tartness and tanginess to give it a modest complexity.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a hazy golden with a soapy white bright head. Aroma is typical orange zest, coriander herbal fruity notes with doughy wheat and a bit of solvent, cleanser- soap with wamr chloriney biscuit notes- strange. Lemon zest, dough wheat and light phenolic belgian yeast with more orangey coriander and earth. Finish is pretty smooth.

Cloudy yellow color with a thin creamy white head. Interesting aroma and flavor of citrus, spices and yeast. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and soft carbonation.

Verre de dégustation (provenant d’un fût) au Vermont Brewers Festival 2006 (Burlington, VT). Arôme: Odeur d’épices, de citron et de bananes. Apparence: La couleur est paille légèrement voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Gout de bananes et d’épices. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps et la texture sont mince. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de citron en arrière goût. (Rating #563)

22 oz bottle, from brewery. Pours a mostly clear light yellow body under a minimal thin fizzy head that was actually more clear in color than white. It completely vanished within a minute. The nose is all spice, lots of coriander and orange peel. A little bit of Ivory soap. Minimal yeast or yeast influence, light wheat. The lack of yeast and its byproducts really ruins this beer, reducing it to an overspiced American Wheat. Lots of coriander, but no complexity at all. Mouthfeel is thin and light bodied with moderate fizzy prickly carbonation. Watery in texture with just nothing to chew on. Overall, boring and simple.

20080729 Tap at brewpub. Golden color. Not very wit like but a tasty wheat beer nonetheless. Lemony citrus. More like an American wheat to me.
