Jun 24, 2008 Hazy golden-amber. Grapefruit nose with light tropical fruits and a hint of toasty malts. Fresh, fruity hop are dry but slightly astringent. Malts are a shade husky. Some sweetness in the finish. Blends well with the fruitiness.

Jun 24, 2008 22oz bomber. Average appearance- light copper color, middling size chunky head that sticks around pretty well. Smells of mowed grass, toasted caramel, some floral notes, and a smooth malty sweetness. Flavor starts with a very well done sharp bitterness. Full hop flavor with lots of depth- pine needles, citric orange rinds, and some sticky resin flavors. Smooth sweet malt backbone. Somewhat oily on the finish, but nothing excessive. Very well crafted IPA with a unique hop profile.

Jun 17, 2008 Draught, sample @ brewpub. Hazy amber. Bright, floral and piney hops. Smooth, low carbonation. Quaffable, thin mouthfeel. Nicely hopped without being in your face. Apparently they like their session beers here in beautiful Maine.

May 21, 2008 En fût. Pinte dégustée à la brasserie. Arôme: Odeur d’agrumes et de pin. Apparence: La couleur est orange légèrement voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de pamplemousse avec une pointe de céréales. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Légère présence de pamplemousse en arrière goût. (Rating #1695)

May 12, 2008 Had this beer at the brewpub in Portsmouth. A nice IPA with a lot of earthy tones, florals and excellent lacing and head over a golden IPA.

May 11, 2008 On tap at the brewery poured in my Imperial pint glass clear light orange body toped of with a good white head that turns to lace and slides down the glass
Aromas of flowery citris hops and pine fill your nose
Flavors are great a little more hops than and English style but not as hoppy as a west cost hop bomb. It also has enough malt presence to keep the bitterness down and keep it very balanced
Clean and crisp good pallet cleanser for the spicy dishes they serve
Very drinkable but I recommend caution for use as a session beer. The alcohol will sneak up on you

Mar 31, 2008 Draft and the brewery. Pours hazy amber with foamy white head. Aroma floral hops. Taste of citrus hops and grapefruit with bitter finish.

Feb 27, 2008 Poured copper with chunks sitting in the bottom of my glass. The aroma was of diacetyl and citrus. Actually the flavor was the same. Medium bodied.
