It’s got some good hops, one of the better IPAs today. It’s got enough balance to carry it off. Superb. Acutally does what it says. Good hop/malt balance. Good hoppy bitterness. jbrus (4903), Delft, Netherlands

Gravicask at GBBF. Dark gold coloured. Solid hoppy aroma with a little citrus. Huge hops in the flavour with a little too much alcohol showing. Thinnish mouthfeel. Bitter finish. Nothing too special. maeib (4772), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England

A copper coloured beer with a wonderful hoppy aroma with oranges and peaches. The taste is hoppy and perhaps a little too bitter. Great flavours but challenges and drys the tongue a little too much. hughie (3086), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Had this on tap at the Portsmouth Brewery. Poured to a slightly hazy red-orange, with a thick off-white head that lingered for the entire glass and left great lacing. Aroma was a very sharp, very dominant hoppy grapefruit citrus, and the mouthfeel was bitter and tingly. This was a very full-bodied, almost creamy beer, with a strong, bitter citrus taste, and a long, dry bitter finish.
My only regret was that I was just passing through and could not stay and enjoy more of this, although I bought a couple other Portsmouth bombers of different styles to go.
