Dickinsonbeer (2512), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Jul 2, 2008 Growler. Pours a hazy light amber thin head and good lace. Aroma is herbal hops somehwat on the light side and not powerful- with some lemon citrus hints. Ligth crackery pale malt backbone, some sweetness, herbal and spicy hops with some minty hops, and a slice of orange. Smooth and ok bitterness in the finish- overall just a bit weak.
urnamesucks (63), New York City, New York, USA Aug 20, 2008 I’m not into IPA’s, but this was well crafted. A few friends enjoyed it. Not my cup of hops. RCL (999), Boston, Massachusetts, USA Aug 4, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Has a dry (as in not sweet) pineapple flavor to it with good bready malt richness. Solid IPA. JohnQPublic (147), Brooklyn, New York, USA Jul 26, 2008 Draught @ Portsmouth Brewpub. Pours amber. Aroma is pine and citrus hops, a bit sweet. Taste is sweet caramel malt up front, nice body, with a balanced but big citrus and pine hop hope character emerging.Clean but a bit resiney, bitterness lingering on the palate. Very balanced, drinkable, well crafted IPA. doubleo (720), San Diego, California, USA Jul 19, 2008 22oz bottle. Pours cloudy, burnt orange with virtually no head, just some bubbles, a few specks of lace. Smells grassy with a bot of cereal malts in the background. Taste is pretty good. A mix of grassy hop flavors and caramel malt flavors. Medium body, pretty weak carbonation.
