Pours gold into a shaker. Sickly white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sweet caramel and biscuit malt aromas. Soft with upfront caramel corn and a lasting honey finish.

Aroma is fruity with some caramel, toasty biscuit, sweet malt and a bit of citrus. Flavor is also sweet on the malt with biscuit caramel and some toast. Finish is clean, while the mouthfeel is a medium viscosity for the style. An enjoyable, quite sessionable brew.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy blonde with a very small white head. Served warmer than what I am used to at Portsmouth, so that is good. Mouthfeel medium-full, just a touch pebbly. Light fruity aroma with a hint of caramel. Sweet caramel and yeasty flavor that gets better as it warms. Light bitter finish.

20080729 Tap at brewpub. Simple and sweet, fruity ale with floral aromas. Nice quaff with typical brewpub fare.
