Strong citrus orange and coriander, tropical fruit sweetness. I liked this a lot, and brought a growler home. I don’t know why, but it got WAY hotter, pronounced alcohol. Best to have it right on tap. SuzyGreenberg (1318), Seattle, Washington, USA Sep 16, 2008 sampler @ brewery - cloudy gold with thin white head; smooth aromas of spice, cloves, sweet bananas, lemons; a little on the thin side, but quite flavorful; very nice boto (1319), Granby, Connecticut, USA Sep 11, 2008 Draught @ Brewpub: Served in a snifter. This one had a very small white head on it that didn’t linger at all. It poured a very cloudy golden color. The aroma is good. I got notes of coriander, wheat, banana and lemon. The initial flavor is a touch sour. I detected wheat, sour banana, clove, and citrus. This is quite good. OldRaspy (292), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Aug 25, 2008 On tap at the brew pub. Pastor (509), Maine, USA Nov 4, 2007 22 oz bomber poured caramel brown with a thin light head that turned to light lace. Aromas of wheat, coriander and yeast Flavors of sweet fruit ,honey with alight lemon bitter. it a little watery (Lack of carbonation ) other than that a decent Wit fbennett (293), Lowell, Massachusetts, USA Dec 11, 2006 Pours a dark caramel brown with a light blonde tail on the bottom that leaves a cloudy body followed by a thick off-white head that stays with this brew. The aroma is strong lemon, wheat, caramel, honey, sugar cookies. The taste is fantastic starts sweet with a honey, wheat, lemon tartness on the palate which is followed by the typical wheat twang that I love in wits. The mild hop presence is just enough to balance that sweet feel but that light carbonation leaves a sticky sweet feeling that can be too much. Overall this is a good beer, the alcohal is a bite strong but not overwhelming.
