Jun 20, 2009 Medium brown pour with hints of red. Medium caramel malt with a hint of pine on the nose. Slight sweetness, light caramel malt, and a nice finishing bitter. Thin and watery with good carbonation.

Jun 7, 2009 Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Ratebeer Spring Gathering. Deep amber pour. The aroma is nutty and lightly sweet. There is a bit of earthy sweetness with a bit of light spice. Flavour is a little bit watery but there is a nice light sweetness and a bit of bitterness. There is a light astringency, but it’s not bad.

Jun 4, 2009 Bottle at PPRBSG09. Pours a clear brown with a small head. Aroma is rich and malty with some diacetyl. Flavor is sweet and bland--not much going on here really. Not bad, not good, just a boring beer.

Jun 3, 2009 (PPSG09, 220z bottle) Large beige head atop crystal clear copper body. Aroma is moderately sweet, floral, caramel, some molasses/candi sugar. Taste is moderately sweet, caramel/molasses, floral/earthy, light cherry. Light-medium body.

Jun 1, 2009 I was rooting for this one. Wasn’t a fan though. Metallic bitterness and almost rotten grain taste. Some brown sugar sweetness and not much else.

May 31, 2009 Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. Pours a clear cola brown with orange highlights and a light white head. Sweet malt with a touch of hops and caramel on the nose. Medium bodied and a bit malty. Finishes with a light bitterness. Definitely sessionable, but rather boring.
