Jun 7, 2009 Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Ratebeer Spring Gathering. Deep amber pour. The aroma is nutty and lightly sweet. There is a bit of earthy sweetness with a bit of light spice. Flavour is a little bit watery but there is a nice light sweetness and a bit of bitterness. There is a light astringency, but it’s not bad.

Dec 12, 2005 Amber in color with a small off-white head. Aroma of toasted.biscuit malt and floral hops. Flavor os biscuit,sweet malt,mild roasted malt, assertive bitterness and hop finish.

May 29, 2009 Bottle from rpstevens. Thanks! Pours dark amber/red with very short lived small head. Smell is slightly nutty, a bit fruity, and a bit sweet. Taste is fruity, nutty and malty but has a nice enough balance for the style, I suppose. A bit soft carbonation, but enough that it is suitable. Decent beer overall.

Jun 20, 2009 Medium brown pour with hints of red. Medium caramel malt with a hint of pine on the nose. Slight sweetness, light caramel malt, and a nice finishing bitter. Thin and watery with good carbonation.

Jun 1, 2009 I was rooting for this one. Wasn’t a fan though. Metallic bitterness and almost rotten grain taste. Some brown sugar sweetness and not much else.
