It’s like the best of both worlds, you get the smooth creamy, sweet cask conditioning and also a boatload of bitter juicy fresh hops. This wasnt going to win the most complex beer in the world award, but wow was it easy and good to drink. Sweet malt (too sweet unfortunately), creamy velvety texture and a good dose of c hops. Thats all folks! (aroma was lightly hoppy, appearance was copper-gold, huge head, hazy). presario (3001), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Superb nose of fresh PNW hops and crisp, full-bodied maltiness. Better than most fresh hops this year in the Northwest. Brewer told us that they next day aired the hops from Washington State. Waves of complex hops flavor. Great great great! dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Smell is very muted, dull floral hops. Taste is smooth balanced and some hops in the flavor but low bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Earthy malt and hop flavor. Definitely doesnt have a fresh hop flavor to it in the traditional sense but it is nice and drinkable. BelgianBeerGal (1307), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Draught sample at the brewery (Hop Harvest ONE on the chalkboard). A very balanced IPA that didn’t floor you with hops. The hops were definitely citrus in character, more like grapfruit rind. Nice and easy to drink and rather refreshing. porterhouse (1161), Alna, Maine, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 19, 2007 (Draft @ brewpub) Nice fresh hoppy flavor...Medium-dark amber, somewhat cloudy. Very small off-white head. Aroma mostly fruity, a bit flowery with some light caramel. Medium-full mouthfeel. Taste is light-medium bitter, lightly fruity over light caramel. Light lingering bitter aftertaste. Pleasant overall, pretty well-balanced, maybe could stand a touch more maltiness. Currently listed as an IPA here - bartender said it was an amber. My vote based on taste would be for APA.
