Bottle. Pours all head. Golden amber color. Aroma of slightly roasted malt with a touch of yeast. Medium dark fruits. Sweet medium fruit flavors. Followed by lightly roasted caramel. Followed by some adequate bitter. This is a pretty good one. Ends a bit sweet, but not over much. A little bitter tends to balance that.

33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden amber with a slowly collapsing light tan head. Fruity and light yeasty aroma. Flavour is mild roasted malt and mild overripe fruit. Goes into a more sharp fruity flavour before the finish. Ends with a light yeasty note and mild bitterness.

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Large creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Light cloudy amber colour. Good display of lacework. Aroma of caramelized, nutty, brown sugar, grain, sweet fruit, yeasts. Over the palace came very balanced because of the roasted malty notes that made this less sweet then other Abbey Dubbel. Medium to full bodied with an average carbonation and mild alcoholic texture. Moderated sweet and mild bitter flavour. Roasted malty bitter lingering finish.
