[Bottled. 2 yrs old.] Muddy red-brown colour. Tidbitty licoricy nose. Yummy tidbitty licoricy flavour with burnt sugar and lemon notes. Lively mouthfeel. Medium mouthfeel. Tasty but one-domensional.

Bottle. Cloudy red color, small off-white head. Minerally, vaguely alcoholic aroma of malt and molasses. Flavor reflects aroma, but keeps the alcohol waiting till the aftertaste. Light carbonation, medium body, clean dryish mouthfeel.

(Bottle, BB 29.11.07) Pours a dark brown body with a large beige head. Aroma of grape juice, plum, raisins, and malt. Flavor of dark fruit, some cola, and malt with light carbonation.

Bottled. Amberish ruby colour with huge longlasting beigeish brown head. Aroma is caramel, fruits and spices with a slight yeasty touch to it. Flavour is caramel and spices along with dry dark fruit and yeast. Pleasant palate. Finish also has some berryish notes, especially once the beer gets a bit warmer.

Bottle. Amber colour with a huge mostly lasting light brown head. Rich aroma and taste of malts, caramel, fruits with some spicy notes. Over carbonated with a fizzy mouthfeel.

Cloudy ruby body with a short lived tan head. Smells like candies. Bready malt, candies, caramel sweetness, somewhat nutty, stronger than expected hops presence. Not quite my beloved Maudite but not that far behind. Excellent beer. I’m going postal for the Postel.

Dark brown colored, slight red hints. Medium sized thick beige head. Licorice, red currant, even some sourness in aroma, yeast and spices there also. Interesting and fine aroma indeed. Medium bodied. Flavor is also slightly sour with yeast, spices and hops, still flavor begins with some biting currant and caramel. Aftertaste has licorice, sourness and berries. Complex dubbel one could say.

Glows deep cherry red in the light. Invitingly Coffeeish on the nostril. This one whispers, ’drink me’. Rich and roasty. Not getting much fruit, but a smoky nose. Lingers like a good cigar. Recommended.
