Cask conditioned - handpump - Monkey’s Head, Northampton. An orange gold coloured beer with a whitish ring of bubbles. The aroma is nicely hoppy with citrus and marmalade notes. The taste is fruity and citrus with a good long finiah. Pretty decent.

Light straw coloured. Almost no head. Scent is perfumed and floral. Thin and watery with a slight fizz. Hint of bitterness, slightly acidic. Floral in mouth, then my notes say that I like it less and less with each taste, and the floral taste becomes more like pipe-cleaner. Not sure what was happening there.

Cask, Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Light copper, small sticky later of fine white head. Lovely candied orange peal aroma, cinnamon, mint. Crisp, light palate with a bright tangerine hop presense. Clean spice-terminated finish with a little toasty malt. A lovely and fresh summer ale.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2006. Pours a pale golden colour with a large longlasting white head. Malty fruity aroma with some hints of dark fruits. Sweet malty fruity flavor. Dry aftertaste with hints of peanuts.
