leaparsons (3878), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Apr 24, 2008 Cask, Leicester Fest 08. Light gold with a small head. Aromas are buttery malts with citrus and dry peppery hops. Flavours are melon fruitiness with citrus acidity. Some woodiness with a dry, hoppy, bitter finish. Quite astringent in its citrus notes but OK overall. Fin (2164), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Mar 25, 2008 Cask at the Turf Tavern, Oxford, 24-03-08 Poured gold with thin white head some light fruit, a lasting bitterness, there really wasn’t an awful lot to say about this beer, merely that it was ok. maeib (3917), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Feb 15, 2008 Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - OGs Wellingborough. A light gold coloured beer. The aroma is sweet with hints of apple. The taste is similar. Some cleaning products also. It wasn’t as bad as my words suggest but I wouldn’t want to drink it agian unless you guaranteed to me that the condition asn’t right.
