Commercial Description:
Brewed for the chez Léon mussels/French fries chain, and also for the Brussels Airlines. Léon beer is pale and full-bodied. It has been specially concocted by Master Brewer Jean Pagura in collaboration with the Alken-Maes brewery to create a delicious combination to go together with the Belgian and Brussels dishes served at chez Léon. This beer is unique because it can only be tasted at chez Léon in the rue des Bouchers where it is served in a large, round glass, specially designed for it. It is the result of a clever mix of pale malts, spring and winter barley and rare hops from Germany and the UK . It derives its whole personality from a final addition of sweet and sour orange peel. This Belgian high fermentation beer is served from the barrel and is 7.2°. It is brewed at Jumet in the installations at the ancestral Union brewery.

Can thanx to Jerre. A clear golden colored beer, with a thick white head. It disappears quickly. The aroma of sweet fruits with malts and dough. The taste is fruity like raspberries and orange. Notes of caramel with a small bitterness. The aftertaste is fruity sweet with a little bitterness.
