jgb9348 (1821), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Aug 3, 2003 Since this is the first review for the beer, i'll try to make it as informative as possible :-). The beer pours a nice hazy straw-coloured golden. A one inch thick top of white head forms perfectly and lasts for a long portion of the beer. The aroma is a pretty good mixture of citrus and hops, well balanced. The taste is pretty thin and mild. With the few bits of flavour that you can pick up, you might detect some citrus, some hops and almost no malt. The palate is equally as weak only leaving traces of citrus and a metallic twang in the mouth. Not a great beer overall, decent look and smell...but the actual taste just wasn't there. If you are looking for a respectable American Pale, look elsewhere: New River (Dominion) or my personal favourite: Tupper's Hop Pocket Ale...both should be available where you'd find this beer! I bought this single twelve ounce bottle at Total Wine in Manssas, Virginia.
