Bottle. [Courtesy of nicolascage, session @ Ølbaren] Large fizzy white heat that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Clear flat looking body with a yellow color. Aroma of grain, caramel, hay, grass. Medium bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet and bitter flavor. Light dry and bitter finish. 18-09-2007, Thanks Lars!

Bottle, 4.6%. Old bready aroma. Clear pale yellow colour. Big white head. The flavour is better than the aroma. Nicely citric with a little malt. Only a hint of sewer.

Bottle, Off-license (cheap!), Berlin, Germany.
Palest, lemony yellow body, bright with huge bubbles that stuck to the sides of the glass. Head, well, didn’t appear at all but it did manage a few dregs left on the glass. Soft boiled eggs and peppermint aroma with a little gritty, pale malt. Soapy and fizzy, pasty malt palate. Ultra light bodied with a harsh finish that was crisp beyond belief. Tasted U.S. macro lagers with more life. A touch of capsicum and celery develop, shining through just before the swallow. Touch of dull malts if you search hard. Not good at all. Worse than a bottle of spritzig wasser. (50cL, BBE 01/07)

Bottled. Clear, golden, effervescent pour with an explosive, disappearing white head. Aroma of malt and a bit of bread. Tastes of spice, grain, some hops. A little sweetness, a little bitterness. Balanced, good, unexceptional.
