Palest, lemony yellow body, bright with huge bubbles that stuck to the sides of the glass. Head, well, didn’t appear at all but it did manage a few dregs left on the glass. Soft boiled eggs and peppermint aroma with a little gritty, pale malt. Soapy and fizzy, pasty malt palate. Ultra light bodied with a harsh finish that was crisp beyond belief. Tasted U.S. macro lagers with more life. A touch of capsicum and celery develop, shining through just before the swallow. Touch of dull malts if you search hard. Not good at all. Worse than a bottle of spritzig wasser. (50cL, BBE 01/07) EithCubes (2172), Indiana, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 8, 2006 Bottled. Clear, golden, effervescent pour with an explosive, disappearing white head. Aroma of malt and a bit of bread. Tastes of spice, grain, some hops. A little sweetness, a little bitterness. Balanced, good, unexceptional.
