Butterscotch and nutty aroma. Dark brown color, light brown rocky head, good lace. Nutty, hint of banana, medium bitterness, full body. Very nice beer which reminded of a combination between Westmalle Dubbel and Rochefort 8.

Pours a deap red dark brown with a nice light tan head. Its aroma are fruity and sweet. It has a very deap carbonation all along and has flavors of sweet grapes or plums and the strong taste of roasted malts. I could call it: Crunchy Roasted Nuts. It is very pleasant and a very good lasting taste.

Reddish deep brown color and a pour with a foamy fizzy head - like sea foam. Sweetish brown sugar malt - cookie-like. Candy in the middle they a gritty drying end. Alcohol punch adds the enjoyment of flavors and ties everything together well. Complex, sophisticed and unique.

Dark brown with slight haze (cold -?); dark crème head, slowly disappearing. Chocolate malt, roasted and herbal, and also very lightly lactic nose, like yoghurt. Taste: OHOH - what is this? Is this Rochefort 7, maybe? Pear drops, roasted malts and sweet malts, vinous and 'speculoos', all is there. Very well bodied without being really heavy. Slight oily mouthfeel. Some alchohol, hidden. Listen. If I were to say this ain't good, then I'd be the King of Hypocrites. I love Rochefort; don't we all? But, OTOH, it is a bit copycat, even when in the sweet direction...

Bottle ( 330ml ). Shared with blankboy via trade with glouglouburp, the renownded Pumkin-hater. Cloudy, very dark brick-red, smallish swirling fizzy/frothy beige head. Rich aroma of raisin, caramel malt, yeast, winter spice, figs .... very very nice - very much like Westmalle Dubbel. Taste - follows, a little thinner, the alcohol comes through a little more - again, Westmalle! Average body, a little burny, spicy and dry, long finish - excellent - thanks, Dany!

Bottled. Ruby colour. Roasty, fruity and orangey. Dry up front -sweeter finish. Fresh and intensely malty with notes of red currant and grassy hops. Very good!
