joss (3138), Garching b. München, Germany Aug 27, 2002 Re-rate: I do not know what I was thinking when I rated the beer the first time, I can’t recognise the experience, well here we go with a rerate:
Yeasty aroma. Ruby red and a niche head retention. Fullbodied and with a fruity yeast taste. Nicely balanced with bitterhops, which linger in the aftertaste.
oh6gdx (6332), Vaasa, Finland Aug 7, 2006 Bottled (thanks DerDoppelbock). Amber colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is malts and rye. Flavour is malts, rye and caramel. Also some bittering hops kicking in the finish and aftertaste. Burnt sugar also in finish. pivo (2488), Germany Aug 10, 2004 TAP: Nose of toasted grain (light), amber color, tall fluffy head. Creamy toffee malt and a light metallic end. Full moutfeel and a raw, fresh feeling to it overall. Nice. diabel (1209), Aarschot, Belgium Jun 24, 2006 Bottle, Best before July 27th, 2006 - Many thanks to Sebastian. Clear, amber body. Off-white, creamy to fizzy head. Aroma of sweet, fine malts and yoghurt. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet initial flavour. Moderately bitter finish. Not bad. Quite tasty for a sunny afternoon at a patio in the German countryside. Nekronos (1943), Xalapa, Mexico Aug 19, 2008 Excellent one. After so many pilsner in Germany I finally find a regio where I can have good beers I like.
