Commercial Description: This beer was made due to the hop
shortage. Scotch Ales are strong, sweet and lightly hopped. This beer is peaty, smoky and malty sweet.
Tap. Cherry brandy and light smoke aroma. Opaque reddish brown color with small head. Smoky cherry malt flavor nicely blended with moderate pine hops finish - smokiness blends very nicely with hops. As a pipe smoker, this beer tastes like the best part of pipe smoke - excellent.
