Draft sample at IBG Winterfest 2009 under the name Wee heavy. Poured a clear dark brown color with a moderate creamy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Medium toasted malt and earthy scotch aroma. Medium to full body with a creamy smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy earthy bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. A smooth complex drinkable brew.

Tap. Cherry brandy and light smoke aroma. Opaque reddish brown color with small head. Smoky cherry malt flavor nicely blended with moderate pine hops finish - smokiness blends very nicely with hops. As a pipe smoker, this beer tastes like the best part of pipe smoke - excellent.
